The Monday deadline is fast approaching to sign up for Neighborhood Watch training. Starting a Neighborhood Watch is a great way to meet your neighbors and to lower crime on your street.
The East Atlanta Security Patrol also offers a 20% discount to all neighbors within an APD approved Neighborhood Watch. There are a number of East Atlanta streets that are receiving this discount. In order to qualify, you must have someone on your street attend the training and receive their certificate.
It may be difficult to get your Neighborhood Watch up and running in order to get the EASP discount for the upcoming quarter, but please don't let that stop you from becoming a member of the Security Patrol. We will be closing membership at the end of March for the upcoming April through June quarter. If your street later qualifies for the discount, we'll refund any membership fees you've paid at the higher rate.
