If you register your alarm, you receive one free false alarm per year, and then pay $50 for the second false alarm and $100 for the third false alarm. From there, the cost increases after each false alarm incident. However, the EASP does not participate in this system, so you won't be nailed for a false alarm fee if our officer comes to your home and finds that your cat set off the alarm.
Please be sure to call in reports of gunshots after calling 911. You do not need to be a member to call us at 404-954-1568. Dekalb County Police have promised to keep a closer eye on the area around Skyhaven Elementary, just in case there is further such activity this evening.
All other suspicious activity should be called in as well, including solicitors that make you uncomfortable, a man screaming in front of a church, or any other such activity. Anything that makes you feel insecure on your property or neighborhood should be reported right away to both 911 and the EASP.
