Enrollment Ending for Dekalb 360 Security Patrol

1/15/2014

For residents of unincorporated Dekalb County, Friday will be the final day for enrollment into the new Dekalb 360 Security Patrol.  Patrols will begin next week.  If you enroll after Friday, the next start date for new members will be April 1st.

The EASP is planning to maintain a high level of cooperation with the new patrol, particularly in the areas where the patrols share a border.  Patrol officers will have the ability to contact each other directly, the volunteers of both patrols will be able to contact each other, and there will be rapid sharing of information when crimes are committed or suspicious activity is reported.  We look forward to an excellent relationship with Dekalb 360!

If you enrolled for Dekalb 360 on our website, your membership form and payment was passed along to them.  If you live in unincorporated Dekalb County and paid on our site, contact Dekalb 360 if you did not receive a payment confirmation.  If you haven't joined, take advantage of the opportunity right away.  In addition, they'll have a big announcement next week on some new technology that they'll be using.  We saw a sneak preview this week and are very interested in learning more about adopting it for the EASP.
