For those who have inquired, here are the mugshots for the two men who were arrested for burglary yesterday over on Long Drive. Unfortunately, two of the men did get away, but this should put a dent in the rash of crimes that Zone 6 and South Dekalb have been experiencing.
In other news, one of our other noted area burglars, Travione Reynolds, was also arrested yesterday on a probation violation.
One disturbing note from last week's crime reports, which are now posted, is a reference to someone knocking on doors in the area of the Maynard Terrace burglary prior to the crime. Many people may be tired of hearing it, but please call in all suspicious activity to 911 and the EASP at 404-954-1568. Someone coming to your door with an excuse that they're looking for someone is one of the most common tricks burglars use to determine if you're home.
If you believe that the person at your door is not legitimate, call it in. If their buddies are outside in a stolen vehicle, this is a good chance for arrests and to prevent burglaries to neighbors who may not be home.
